About Senior Solutions of Michigan

Margie Mackson Margie Mackson has over 20 years of experience in marketing and facility operations for assisted living, independent senior housing, home healthcare, skilled nursing and specialized memory care.

She is a proponent for the Eden Alternative and has implemented this philosophy in many of the facilities she has managed. Margie has professional expertise in the construction and startup phase for independent living, assisted living, and memory care facilities throughout the Midwest. She also has extensive experience with interior and exterior design of a number of retirement communities.

Margie graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. She has done graduate study in nursing and business. She held membership or participated in the Alzheimer’s Association, Area Agency on Aging, West Michigan Regional Bonding, MALA and MCAL.

She has a compassionate spirit and sincere interest in serving seniors.

Carolyn MacMillan Carolyn MacMillan brings experience and expertise from working with older adults and family members for over two decades in the Detroit metropolitan area.

Her background is in social work and geriatric consulting in a range of older adult residential settings including independent apartments, assisted living centers, and nursing homes. Carolyn has also served as a private consultant and advocate, enabling older adults to remain in their own homes by accessing family and community resources.

Carolyn earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Madonna University located in Livonia, Michigan. She is a licensed Social Worker through the State of Michigan. She has actively participated in community organizations such as the Dementia Care Givers Association Program and the Alzheimer Association. She has also been a guest facilitator for various gerontology courses offered at Madonna University and at senior centers throughout the community.
